As we start Term 1 2017, the Marsden High School library is ready to go with great new furniture and lots of new programs for you to get involved in!!

New Furniture

The new furniture in the Library is looking fabulous and all students and staff are in agreement that it is very comfortable - make sure you stop by and try it out! There is still more planned to do but the painting of the mezzanine area is now complete and the quotes are on the way for our new shelving.

Be sure to watch this space.

Library Monitors/Volunteers

Come and be involved in your school library. Find out all about the workings of the library and join our committed team of fabulous students who give their own time at recess and lunch to ensure the library runs as fantastically as it does!! Help other students find their way around the shelves, computers and printers and so much more!

Come into the library and ask for a library monitor application form at the front desk.

New South Wales Premier's Reading Challenge 2017

The PRC is underway as all books read from September 2016 can be entered into the challenge!

Online entries start on March 6 so I will be making a special announcement in roll call classes and at year group meetings to encourage your participation and to show you how to navigate the site.

Here is the link to the PRC homepage https://online.det.nsw.edu.au/prc/home.html for you to browse.

Last year we had a PRC Medal Winner which was very exciting! Perhaps you could be the next medal winner!!

Please come and visit your Library, we are here to help you with your reading for pleasure, research tasks and assignments.
